Being new to this hobby and trying not to get burnt again, could someone who has experience with GG please let me know if sending EMT is safe. TYIA

Depending on your context.
If you are asking if you will get scammed, then no. GG is a well established Shop in Toronto, no need to worry they will ran away with your deposit.
However if you are asking privacy related, then no nothing is safe, you emt details like your legal name will be kept with them and there are no guarantee it won't get leaked on day. Having said that, there are no known cases of them leaking personal information at the moment.
