How to Enable “18+ Content” on iPhone / iPad (Telegram)

Directly in Telegram iOS App?

Not possible due to App Store restrictions — Telegram removes the toggle in the iOS version.

But don’t worry. Here are the workarounds:

Option 1: Use Telegram Web

1. Open Safari or Chrome


2. Go to web.telegram.org


3. Log in to your account


4. Click this link: https://t.me/settings


5. Find and enable “Show Sensitive Content” or “18+ Content”

> Once enabled, it syncs across devices — including iOS!

Option 2: Use Telegram Desktop (macOS or PC)

1. Download: https://desktop.telegram.org


2. Log in to your Telegram account


3. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security


4. Scroll to Sensitive Content


5. Turn on “Disable filtering”

Option 3: Sideload “Unfiltered Telegram”

> For power users only — not App Store approved

1. Use AltStore or sideload Telegram from telegram.org


2. This version is not filtered by Apple, and includes the 18+ toggle
